This spinal twist is a gentle exercise that will help improve muscle tone in the pelvic floor region. Watch the video and start by standing in the position shown and engaging your core pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. Rotate your chest and head to the right, keeping knees straight. Breath in as you return to the centre position before rotating to the left. Repeat several times.

- Standing with your hands on knees, with your spine extended.
- Breathing in, set pelvic muscles and while holding these tight, breathe out and begin to rotate your whole spine to left looking up over your left shoulder, sagging the lumbar and thoracic spine.
- Return to start, take a breath and straighten the spine.
- Repeat on the opposite side.
