Could a GBS (Group B Strep) Urinary Infection cause incontinence?

Asked by Anonymous about 1 year ago

Our expert answered:

Hello Sharleen,
Thanks for your enquiry.
A Group B Strep Urinary Infection can cause the same symptoms as any other Urinary Tract infections which are:
* Pain when urinating
* Strong urge to urinate which cannot be contained
* Urge to urinate frequently

Light bladder leakage or LBL may occur if you cannot get to the toilet in time. This is known as urge incontinence.
