My mom cuts her pads in half. Is there a risk of doing this? We have tried to tell her that the pad will not work right but she won't listen.

I have recovered from a prolapse repair but am incontinent. I want to travel to a remote place but I want a product that I can wash and reuse as I can't leave a trail of pads behind where ever I go. Is there such a product?
