Our expert answered:
Hello Jade,
The pins and needles feeling you are experiencing could be the cause of a wide range of factors including but not limited to, nerve pressure, nerve injury, lack of blood flow, diabetes, side effect of certain medications, underactive thyroid gland. Our advice would be to speak with you GP so they can assess your condition properly.
You're not alone in experiencing light bladder leakage or LBL. Many women who have had children experience some form of LBL as the muscles around the urinary tract are not strong enough to keep urine in. The good news is that 80 per cent of women can be cured by conservative measures such as pelvic floor muscle exercises. Read up about pelvic floor exercises on the Poise website.

A word caution about pelvic floor exercises. Nearly half of women do not do the exercises properly and then wonder why they're not feeling any benefits. If you're uncertain about this, talk to a local continence advisor or physiotherapist who specialises in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Use the product selector on the Poise website to choose the right protection for your needs. All Poise products have a super absorbent core which quickly draws and locks in urine to help you feel dry and prevent odour from escaping.
