Our expert answered:

Hello Abigail,
LBL affects women of all ages however is mostly common amongst women who've had a baby. However there have been many cases of young girls getting LBL as a result of hormone changes through puberty and weak pelvic floor muscles. Young girls who play exercise sport can also get LBL.
