I AM 69 YRS OLD AND HAVE HAD ARTHRITIS FOR MANY YEARS AND IT JUST KEEP SPREADING. CONSEQUENTLY, IT JUST GETS WORSE AS IT SPREADS THROUGHOUT MY BODY. THE ANTI INFLAMATORIES CAUSE ME TO RETAIN WATER, SO I MUST TAKE WATER PILLS FOR THE WATER RETENTION AND THE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE I ALSO HAVE. IS THERE AN ANSWER?

Dear Joyce,
You may be able to qualify for one of the government assistance schemes such as the Continence Aids Assistance Scheme(CAAS) that assists eligible people who have permanent and severe incontinence to meet some of the costs of continence products. You can visit their website here http://www.bladderbowel.gov.au/furtherinfo/professional/caasprof.htm . Alternatively, you can see your local continence advisor or GP to find out more information about whether you qualify.
