Our expert answered:

Hello Sarah,
Thanks for your email. We've heard a lot of similar things from many women.

Our advice would be to seek the advice of a local nurse continence advisor. You should be able to find one within your local hospital or medical centre. They will be able to develop a course of action specifically for you.

Your local continence advisor may provide many recommendations, particularly pelvic floor exercises.

In terms of protection, did you know that Poise Liners/Ultrathins are just as discreet as a period only product but 3 times more absorbent? Request a free sample from the Poise website.

Great to hear your doing Pilates. It's a great way to build core strength and continually activate your pelvic floor muscles. Keep it up!
