Our expert answered:

Hello Jennifer,
From your description it sounds like you have symptoms of overflow incontinence. This occurs when you continuously leak small trickling amounts of wee and you feel you never completely empty your bladder. There's a whole section on the Poise website dedicated to overflow incontinence. Read here for causes and potential remedies.

Have another discussion with your doctor. They should have done a urinary test to show if you have a urinary tract infection or not and prescribed antibotics if required
Perhaps also discuss this with a local nurse continence advisor. They will be more informed on bladder issues than your doctor as doctors usually refer to continence advisors.
