Our expert answered:
Hello Zoe,
Light bladder leakage or LBL usually occurs due to weakening of the pelvic floor muscles (the ring of muscles which support the bladder). Like any muscle they should be fit and strong.
The best bet would be to discuss the problem with your doctor or local nurse continence advisor. They will recommend the right course of action for you which will probably involve conducting pelvic floor exercises. Visit http://www.poise.com.au/pelvic-floor-exercises/ for more info on pelvic floor exercises.
Your leakage during exercises, consider using Poise Liners or Ultrathins. They are just as thin as period only products yet three times more absorbent. Request a free sample from the Poise website.
