Little bladder weakness at 17 years of age

I've just turned 17 a few weeks ago and for a few months i've had a little bladder weakness, not alot but its enough to kinda soak through and well i'm to embarrassed to tell anyone, i'm not sexually active so that rules out that and i went to the doctor for another reason and had pee tests done and nothing was wrong? diets okay and what not soooo, confused.

Light bladder leakage or LBL is a very common problem for women of all ages. It occurs because the pelvic floor muscles that sit under the bladder and around the urethra are too weak to prevent urine escaping. This is caused by a number of common factors such as urinary tract infections, an overactive bladder, injury, constipation, obesity, diabetes, a side effect of taking certain drugs, hormonal changes, excessive exercise...

The good news is that around 80 per cent of women can be cured quite easily by conservative measures. One of the main measures is pelvic floor exercises, which should be done throughout life for women and men. The Poise website has a whole section on regaining bladder control;
