I do not tend to urinate when I cough or sneeze etc I just need to go to the toilet very desperately all of the time when I have it, it makes me panicky and worried and is so uncomfortable.

Hello Rebecca,
Although you may be a bit scared to visit the Dr, it sounds like you may need to go to pay them a visit GP. Visit a GP that you feel comfortable with or seek the advice of your Local Continence Advisor from your Local Community Health Centres as you will need a thorough Continence Assessment to rule out anything medical, like a Urinary Tract infection.

It sounds like you may have an irritable bladder, which through various non-invasive treatments like Bladder Training Programme and or dietary control e.g. reducing caffeine intake may reduce the symptoms of urgency for you.
