Be Active Every Day

Poor diet, weight gain and obesity are proven factors which cause bladder weakness in women. And the only way to prevent weight gain is to find a balance between food intake and physical activity. The best approach is to eat a variety of nutritious foods and increase physical activity to burn off body fat.

Along with your pelvic floor exercises try to undertake some form of sustained exercise for at least 20–30 minutes, three times a week. Many women find walking easy and enjoyable. Exercise and aerobic classes are also effective as they are high intensity and are not too long.
